I think I LITERALLY AM STUPID

I just made a big jump in avoiding these 'stupid' errors.

What I have found is that it is not a 'stupid' problem. The reality is that the better you get at tactics (from studying tactics, not just playing), the faster you will compute and the fewer calculation errors you will make.

Calling it 'stupid' is counterproductive - it implies that no matter how hard you study tactics, that you can never overcome the problem, when in reality, it is 100% fixable by study (avoiding big blunders.)

basically, you aren't missing tactics that seem obvious to youin retrospect because you're stupid - you aren't solid enough on the tactics in that position, and thus are readily distracted by the other lesser factors in the position such that you make a big error.

You are not stupid you are just a sensitive entropist.

no one who plays chess is stupid, because you know the rules of how the pieces move so you can brag to everyone about how intellectual you are.

You're figatively stupid then.
