The WCM, WFM, WIM, WGM titles are positive discrimination because there are fewer female players.

That's fine if one wants a double standard. If women are truly equal they don't need a separate title. On the other hand if they truly are inherently weaker at chess it makes sense. No matter what the case chess doesn't make anyone superior or inferior depending on how well they play it. We all have unique abilities. Why force women to participate in something they may not naturally have an interest in?

"Why force women to participate in something they may not naturally have an interest in?"
++ Nobody forces anybody.
It encourages women doing something most women have no natural interest in.
So why should someone weaker than me get a title I cannot get, simply because of their gender?
You mean that there are WCM's with a rating less than 1000, which is the max rating you have achieved here in rapid?

While discriminating against men who would otherwise have the opportunity to win money in tournaments. Should we encourage more women to get in a boxing ring and beat each other up just because there isn't equal representation?
I believe that there is a strong positive connotation that goes with "chess master", meaning that there needs to be a foundation for mastery of chess, and this WCM title is basically given to any woman who is an intermediate player at that given time. I have seen many WCMs who have just stayed at the 1700 or even lower and I think it brings down the connotation of the word "chess master" and those who can be called "master".

you never really thought this through, did you ?
And what is wrong with his logic?
So why should someone weaker than me get a title I cannot get, simply because of their gender?
Boohoo
There are probably CMs weaker than you as well who were awarded the title for strong performance in some lower rated tournament typically for kids or less developed nations.
How ageist and regionalist. Boohoo.
The bunny feels your hurst, pear.

Chalk another one up for giving out participation medals.

And we're running out of chalk. It's an emergency!

You can change gender and get your title.
No he can't. The guy is 1200 rated on chess.com, he probably can't even get a FIDE rating, let alone a title.

There's still age and nationality he/she could change. Please be more positive!
@55
He could aim for ACM: rating 1100.

No WCM is lower than 1500 on chess.com so this isn't true.
So confident
@michou228
Maybe would be fine just one title according to the Elo, no matter if its a kid or a woman, a fish or whatever.

WCM is >2000 at least once at FIDE ratings, and completely irrelevant to the chess dot com ratings.
Such a title may be granted if the player achieves a certain level of performance at some official FIDE continental and world events.
