If I created an online petition for additional titles, and presented it to Chess.com as a new feature request who would be interested?

Yes, If you promise to make me a pizza. Titles like PI, you mean, I assume?

Maybe not more titles, but to encurage players it could be cool with medals for reaching certain leves of rating (I also love special hats and uniforms).

Perfect_Idiot-Says it all.
and some more...suggest a title could be 'idiot supremo'
There is no need to call people names, if you dislike the idea of having a title and being a nobody just say so.

Thankyou. Agreed. Matching uniforms for people in my group would be nice too.

You get 2 ponies every chess game. Why do you need one of them for?
you'll probably not understand, but... he said he didn't need the pony, so what does a healthy person do? Believe it? I thought so too
He was so kind to let me keep my last pawn though...

To be fair, martial arts classes award titles (belts) just for showing up for a long enough period. It's a smart marketing scheme.
I'm sure there would be more chess players if there was a title for reaching 1400 or so. The point is, these are not people we'd really want.

Pretty much every club apart from this website has some form of title, in judo I was yellow belt, which was nice because you know you have damn well earned it through discipline and skill or you would still be a white belt. Nobody can just jump up to black belt obviously.
At work I was awarded certificate for completing my health and safety + hygiene in the workplace course. Maybe thats nothing to some people but I can look back at it as an achievement which is better than nothing at all!
No you don't have to keep it if you don't want it but the point is that people like being recognised for thier achievements!
LOL...Titles are only important to unimportant people.
