ia to immortalize a player

Hi, I have my dad diagnosed with cancer. Something that we always enjoy is playing chess and I have motivated him to play online for a while. I would like to make a bot that mimics your play style. Currently I would have a dataset of 5k games in a file ".pgn" . But I am at a loss as to how to approach this.
I have knowledge of programming in java c ++ and javascript.
Any idea, algorithm, ai, papper, github, forum, etc in this regard would be of great help to me. I understand that you have your things and that reading this already consumes you time, also that it is not feasible to search for data just for charity.
