If Carlsen give two knights-odd in a match with Nona gaprindashvili in 2014 (when nona already 73 years old), how much the chance of Nona to survive? Can she hold carlsen to a draw at least?

Please serious reply and dont make fun to both players. For some reason, i have a respect to Nona. She is the player from the era when real creativity is really matters and computer assistance was not exist during her prime. And as the grandma of 73 years old, she is still play occasionally in serious tournament.

So if this grandma face Carlsen with the condition above? Hows the game going on?

I'd say she'll probably win. Draw, at least.

Unless she has severe dementia she would kill him with two knights odds. She could also beat any engine at those odds.

Lol, ya but i thought since carlsen has almost 600 rating point higher than nona, and nona is getting old now, two knights odds might be seem fair. or maybe i should change it into one rook odd:)

Well two knights is waaay too much

Gaprindashvili actually defeated Dzindzichashvili before!  I'd say Nona wins given knight odds.

And people thought I was silly for suggesting that Judith Polgar (who has some wins over Karpov,  Topalov, Kasparov, and even Magnus Carlsen!) would do really well against Morphy giving him pawn and move.

It's a rapid game but still:

Never have a doubt on Judit, sadly she is retired now. Hou yifan may cross 2700 barrier someday, but she doesnt have judit's charisma and gut.

Nona has played a very creative game and won against Polgar who has wins over Carlsen and Kasparov even. I don't think current rating would matter because it's based on the games played and tournaments attended. Nona has low rating not because she's that low but because she hasn't played much. Don't forget - she was a first woman to earn men's title of GM, which at that time and for long after was unheard of. Carlsen wouldn't stand a chance I think with two knights off the board on his side.

The posted game why Polgar won just because of the blunder 28.f3. There is no doubt Polgar will lose if Carlsen didn't play f3.
