If Fischer would played Karpov for the World Champion, who would win?

There is actually a video of the moment Carlsen blunders in that game....

Well, I like both players....Anand AND Carlsen. I also like Kramnik and Aronian, and Caruana and Nakamura and Giri...I just like chess.
But it bothers me when people make rash predictions against Anand....he is one genius player, and can rebound for a great match.
In my opinion, it all depends on how much he wants it. Is he hungry enough to regain his title? We shall see....

mnhsr, what year?

lol Carlsen is 6-6 with Anand because Carlsen used to play him A LOT back in 2007/8/9 where he was a mere developing child. After 2011 or so Anand became a patzer to him.

Hijo~no offense. You seem quite coherent (since you got off the Kasparov thing) but, dude. You're still superficial.

Superqueen is a known troll, and is trolling here with the "patzer" comment (like every other "patzer" comment ever), but is otherwise correct. Anand was at one point 6-1 against Carlsen, but hasn't beaten him in classical chess since 2010.
Hijo de Luna, I don't know what you are drinking, but you are way off the mark:
1) Classical games: Magnus Carlsen tied Viswanathan Anand 6 to 6, with 28 draws.
Including rapid/exhibition games: Viswanathan Anand beat Magnus Carlsen 16 to 15, with 46 draws.
Only rapid/exhibition games: Viswanathan Anand beat Magnus Carlsen 10 to 9, with 18 draws.
*The figures above are based only on games present in our database which may be incomplete.
2) Anand beat Carlsen in the FIDE World Rapid Champonship, (June 24, 2014) WITH THE BLACK PIECES!
