Are you going to explode or what?

Only dimensionally. It depends on the ultimatum and fulcrum you understand.

NovicePlayer5

1) Instant three fold draw recognition
2) Instant 50 move draw recognition
3) Pre-moves cost no time instead of the current 0.1 seconds.

In VC, if all team members have voted, or, if there is a majority for a move, the move should be submitted and it's then the opponents turn.

One good idea that I think would be easy to do is that once a player has established a stable rating in one of the many time controls and variants then when that player decides to play a new game/time control then their starting rating is relative to their established rating. At the moment all forms of chess and time controls give you a 1200 rating start, so if you are rated 1800 in blitz there is no need to start playing rated games against opponents rated 1200 when wanting to play standard or online time control and you could start playing against 1800 players. Just makes the games more enjoyable for all players. And you don't have to waste too much time/games beating up much lower rated players than you.

HessianWarrior

I'm sure the much lower rated players would appreciate that too.

That's a good idea, but you wouldn't want the rating to go immediately to the same level, since the player is probably less comfortable using that time control. I think the change should be 3/4ths or something (negative or positive) of the rating difference from 1200.

I'd like to see live tournaments that could be organized and joined in advance.
