Thanks but one can never know enough. Even Carlsen, the greatest player in the history of the world would have a little trouble against the best engines uploaded to at least decent hardware (though I'm fairly certain that Carlsen could beat Stockfish on Iphone especially on fast settings where the phone's time management kicks in and chooses short sighted suboptimal moves and maybe even the occasional mistake)

And you have about a month to prepare. Not that I think I'd win but to maximize my chances I would wear a Boba Fett t-shirt playing some sweet 90's music. If he wants quiet then of course I'd respect I wouldn't want to win with cheap distractions so I'd keep it on the IPod.
I would study the Caro-Kahn and play it against him seeing as how it would be considered unorthodox in his day. Heck, Owen defeated him once with the Owen's Defense, which is a tier below the Caro-Kahn. I would pick the Caro-Kahn because like the Black Knight and even Alekhine's Defense today was highly underestimated back then.
As white I would open with 1.Nf3 and expect 1...Nc6, so I'd employ my typical knowledge of the Chigorin's Defense, or the Black Knight of Morphy opts for that route. 1.Nf3,Nc6 2.d4,e6 and 2...d6 are also worth considering to prepare against. If 1.Nf3,d6 then 2.d4 anyway as it's very clear there'd be a fight for e5 going on.
I would go for an endgame but not mindlessly exchange down, for doing so is a typical mistake of many players. Being from the future we'd have advantages in the form of computer prep and many decades of high quality GM research and study that Morphy didn't have access to so our chances are better than we think.
Here is a Caro-Kahn game from that era even though it doesn't feel like much of one:
