I agree with Bad_Blunderer. There is a lot of noise on this thread. I'm not paid for this post, but I tried his free lessons, decided for myself I want to continue and bought a bundle. According to me his ideas and the info presented = spot on. I enjoy every moment I'm working through his material.
Hey everyone, I bought stuff off onlinechesslessons.net (got sucked into buying a sale bundle and couldn't stop), I havn't used it all, mostly studying individual material one by one, and some of it was Igor smiritov's.
Believe me, it is quality, but you need to be willing to study it, and you need to know what kind of positions counter his principals (there is always an exception). Message me for info, though I wont spoil his cource.
Seriously though.
My rating went from 1036 last year to 1090 in january, then I did his products (and a few vids off the site, but mostly igor)
My USCF Rating is currently 1469.
I have won local tournements.
I won 5/7 open at states,
(19th, but 137th or so highest rating).

I'd recommend his courses, especially Calculate Till Mate.
There are 7 video lessons, with 3 bonuses, and a practical part.
The first part of the course talks about how to calculate, and your thinking process. There are also some tips on practical and psychology. This course trains tactics, calculation, and visulazation.
There is also a lesson on typical tactics.
My FIDE rating is about 1450, and my Canadian Rating is around 1700-1800. My USCF rating is 1900.
