TASS, the Russian news agency, said it was an attempt to oust him, that he didn't sign anything and the Americans are behind it. He is subject of a travel ban as part of broader sanctions against Russia and some individuals because of the Ukraine situation.

Fact 2 - Ilyumzhinov made a public denial, AIUI, through twitter feed.
If you want to fill in blanks then fire away.
If you want to complain that this, or Borislav Ivanov being caught forging documents is not chess news, then i suggest you get your chess news from elsewhere...
