Nothing wrong with perpetual check.
There have been threads about people being cowards who use perpetual check. I put my hand up I am one ! In the final position I chickened out of my attack. I could have risked mate in one from my ~1900 rated opponent. Instead I took the wuss way out and initiated a checking sequence...
