I've been playing in tournaments (including the occasional tournament that includes GMs) for more than 50 years, and in my experience the really GOOD players almost NEVER brag about how good they are. Only wanna-be's do that sort of crap.

Chess is more akin to a sport, a craft, or an art, in regards to improvement. The more you work on a specific aspect of it, the better you get at it.
A duck can't do much to improve its defenses against predators. It's at the slow mercy of evolution.
A chess player, however, can do a lot to improve his or her weaknesses. One's skills and talents, in chess, aren't fixed - they're fluid.
We are not born the same. We are not thinking the same things. And we have different talents. Some are good at strategic thinking. Some are good at positional. Some things are based on what the ratings is. Blunders players often made based on what elo they are playing with. Some things, etc. etc. What I am only telling, you should know first know what works well base on what the rule of the environment dictates you. For example, for a begineer, the environment maybe dictates tactics is more powerful move etc. etc. You just have to know what fits for you. There are also different playstyle and things available. But the playstyle that is best for you is the one that fits in you. You just have to know what it is.

Also, if your opponent decides that you are weak at tactics but strong at strategy and endgames, he will deliberately head for complicated, tactical positions. Conversely, if endgames are your Achilles Heel, your opponent will start trading off pieces and bleeding the dynamicism out of the position.
Nature doesn't deliberately aim at your weakness. Chess opponents do.
Sorry but you cant do that if you dont know who you are playing with.
Rule of thumb: if what you are doing does not work, try another.

As a beginner u need to work more on ur opening n pay attention to defense, never forget that the best way to attack is to defend

All of what you study are not bad, it is that there are more better and profitable options. It is just we are all competitors here in this game. If you want to outdo others, you just have know what is the best option.
