I'm lazy and bad at calculation

I do everyday puzzles but it seems to better my pattern recognition but not so much my calculation. I'm bad at imagining forcing lines more than 2 or 3 moves ahead so I tend to often play the most appealing or "logical" move.
Do you have any tips to better my calculation?
