what long island mark said. What you describe is very usual. Most chess players, most athletes, most musicians, experience plateaus, stagnation, and you just have to trust that you're learning. Perhaps your knowledge of openings is increasing. Perhaps you're learning about your psychological soft spots.
I managed to get to 1000, but now I've been losing games by en prise problems. I gotten better only to get worse yesterday and today. Any ideas why? Look at my game archive for today and yesterday first please. (10/13/13 and 10/12/13)
