Well I have a sneaking admiration for you, it reminds me of the days I had a room full of books and actually looked things up, sadly I have succumbed to the ease of goggling google!

There are like a dozen search engines out there. Google is the most popular maybe, but the Bing, Yahoo Search, Yandex, Ask, Blekko of this world and are all decent.
If you are more privacy minded then lxquick, Startpage, Duckduckgo and Gigablast are for you.
