how about reading chess books ? try your public library first to see what they have. There are many good books written by grandmasters explaining their games. That would give you a more comprehensive knowledge base then simply picking up things here and there.
I have had platues at 1000, 1200, and 1500. I don't think there is a silver bullet other than to push through them. My only advice would be to mix up your openings so you get a fresh look at new positions, and also to play a set number of games a day so that you are completely focused on the few games you are playing and have time to analyze and go over them afterwards
I went from 1500-1700 mostly by solving lots of tactical puzzles.
I remember when I was 1500 and I felt like I knew everything. "I already know about forks, pins and skewers, what's the point of doing more puzzles?" I said to myself.
But when I eventually started practicing them, I realised there were so many common mate in 3's / mate in 4's that I didn't know about, and it helped me tremendously.
Being able to spot these in real blitz games was so satisfying and boosted my rating a lot.

Keep on working. It took me a month to get to 1600 from 1500.
I've just made it to 1500 mark, i mostly do 2 things to improve:
It takes time & effort to improve, keep working on your chess skills and have patience.
Everything takes time. It seems you are doing some of the right things, doing lessons and analyzing your games. Tactics puzzles might help.
I found my best progress came from reading chess books. I get to review as long as it takes and set-up positions on a chess board. Several books by GM Yasser Seirawan helped, as they explain tactics etc very clearly in an easy to read style. Good luck.
