I am presently reading The Immortal Game by David Shenk. it is a historical look at chess while also going over the moves of the game between Adolf Anderssen and Lionel Kieseritzky june 21 1851 in London. Though it is not a book to improve your chess, I have found it to be a delightful light read. I would be interested in other thoughts on this from the community
