Signed. Sorry she is going through this. I know how bad pain can get. Had back surgery in 06 and have been disabled ever since. Hope she gets some relief soon.
Her insurance company has decided her surgery should be elective surgery. The insurance companies will try to get out of paying anything they can.
long-term morphine for pain? That is very sad... I hope that this gets cleared up soon.
How much would the surgeries cost if out of pocket? And i wonder with the surgeries if there's even a guarantee that it will completely correct the entire situation.
Side note, I was shocked when I read that Sleeping Beauty's real name is Laurie. I hate when people lie about their names.

I know this is going to be a bit off topic but it is important so im going to write it anyway. You all must be familiar with Kohai. She is one of the staff here at chess.com who helps erik keep this site running efficiently for us all so we can all enjoy our time here.
Those of us who have become friendly with her know how much pain she has been in waiting for surgery for the last few years. Once again the insurance companies are putting it off and delaying surgery that she desperately needs to start feeling like herself again.
