Excalibur offers a number of handheld chess computers. However, I was not impressed by the quality of the one I had; maybe some of their other products are better.
But wouldn't it be easier to load a chess program on your laptop or phone and translate the moves onto a board?
Hey everyone!
I've been looking for a chess computer for a while, but I'd rather play on a real chess board than on the computer screen. Every time I find a "physical" chess computer it's either built in with a cheap plastic board, or with a way too expensive one - where I would end up paying for the actual board, which I don't really need.
The perfect solution for me would just be a small computer with display and buttons only, so I could play on my own chess board with the instructions from the computer.
Any ideas? :)
