Hello everyone,

As a person who onced did chess coaching and play chess competively, I found that once I started high school I don't have the time to continue these lessons. Thus I feel as if I'm not improving or even at times going backwards in my chess skills. Do you guys have any tips for me in way where I can improve my chess ability as I want to continue improving until I have the time to go back to chess coaching after HSC.

Thank you :)

The Chess Mentor lessons are a good way of teaching yourself when you have a little time.

Your best bet is to read a book. Based on your strength, Capablanca, Chess Fundamentals would be a good choice.

I think you need any puzzle book and a middle game strategy book like simple chess by stean and some basic endgame mating pattern.
