Improving at tactics, but not in games?

Recently, my TT ratings on chess tempo and chess.com have been going up about 200 points, but I have noticed no marked increase in chess skill. What gives?

Please show me where I said my tactics rating was good/over 2000.
Anyways, thank you for your answer. I do know basic strategic concepts such as good vs bad pieces, bishop vs knight, knight outposts, opposite side castling, and improving pieces. But many players much better than you and I have said serious study of strategy is best left to stronger players.
