For quick background I've played chess on and off since I was a kid and recently got back into playing and I'm wanting to see how far I can get. Since joining the site my game elo has fluctuated between 100 and the low to mid 1000's from game to game, are there any tips for stabilising and improving my elo when I can get hyperfocused on either a particular part of the board or my own plan forgetting my opponent has their own plan and can thwart my own plan.
For further context I was diagnosed as an adult with autism and have a strong monotropic mindset.
