That's right. If you want to get stronger, play with a stronger opponent.

So...as everybody else i would like to get to a higher rating and i started playing a lot of tournaments where there are higher rated players.The point is, i'm about 1050...now a little higher...and sometime i win against 1300-1500 player...few times obviously.When i win, i get like 12-13 rating points, when i lose the max that i lose is like 2-3 points....which makes it easier to grow in rating...
The question is: Does it really make me a better player?Would it be better to play the players my level?
