Incredible game by Aronian today!

I loved this game! We actually talked about it a bit in another thread. I'm not a very skillful chess player or observer. So what I've gathered from others is that Rapport played a pretty bad game. I don't see that. I think he got himself into a trap before it would be reasonable to see it coming. It's hard to find a point where he really just blundered. Maybe you could say 20. ...c5 but I still think Aronian would have come out on top at that point. He had already given up his knight, he saw the finish line.

wow, it make it looks like it was easy... where did actually rapport went wrong?
Yeah it's one of those games where it's difficult to see a concrete mistake...just small positional inaccuracies that only reveal themselves with perfect play from your opponent, which Aronian demonstrated.
After Rapport played an exceptional game against Carlsen to win, now Aronian followed suit with an even better game to beat Rapport (my opinion anyway). Awesome sacrifice and follow-up...I'm sure some home prep was involved but who cares!?
