I didn't expect other player thinking the same that people from that country have their own special way in the openings ... and still winning with it. One has to play and counter those moves, if not they deserve to win.

But in the end I can decide for myself if I want to play a specific nation, style, gender, age, whatever. There's always the choice to abort or resign the game. This is chess for spare time and hobby not getting world champion and no one can force you to play person x or y. Either way this is not misusing the possibilities, when handled in a normal way.

This thread is so racist!

Not all Indian play chess the same!

The are almost 1 billion people, and every one is different. Don't take your frustration out on so many people who don't even play like that

Maybe the problem is that you are not playing a good defense. You should try... The Kings Indian defense :D

Is there some way to avoid playing against people of a certain nationality? I hate playing indians bcuz they pull some weird coccomany opening moves that make no sense n still they are winning games that they should deserve to loose. And also maybe not play against nortkoreans for political reasons???

I always avoid playing against those cockroaches. Unlike other nationalities, my experience against Indian players are not a good one. They are more likely to troll, cheat, disconnect games, very rude, etc. I agree, there should be a way to filter out nationalities. My avoidance of Indian people goes beyond chess.com, and not going into more detail about those stinky people.

Well. I like playing different nationalities and styles, maybe just learn KID openings, which is what they like to play a lot, and put some incense in your underwear and play on!

I havent played a live game yet on this new V3 version but we could always abort a game once a seek was found. You can look at there flag and if you dont like it, abort and send out another seek.

Won't work. Anyone can post any flag. Better to ask to see their passport to make sure.

I think we can just ignore this. There's no historical precedent for being worried when people start referring to a particular ethnic group as 'cockroaches'.
