I reached this interesting position while playing with some possible lines from an old game of mine. At first it looked like black was easily better, but I can't seem to find a way for black to continue without white liquifying, or changing the tide of the battle. It's black to move here.
At first I considered 1 ... Nd4. But after 2. Qd3 white is threatining to play 3. Nb5 trading off black's good night, or even worse 3. Ba6 eliminating my bioshop and having potential attacking chances. So, I concluded that Nd4, although at a first glance looks like a great spot for the knight, threatens the queen, and applies pressure to e4, is not a good move. It should be noted that I breafly considered 1... Na5. However, this runs into similer problems.
I'm really unsure as to weather or not I need some sort of defensive move. Or am I just not seeing something?
