It seems to me that your opening was inviting this play.
In my experience with the bots, you should not give up after losing only a pawn or an exchange. The lower rated bots here will throw pieces at you if you are a little patient.
Why do some of the intermediate bots 1400 or 1500 to 1600 or 1700 have tactical
play that is higher than the bot's rating ?? I play on other sites where the bots tactics are
more in line with their ratings. Chess.com seems to have the intermediate bots tactical
play juiced.
