Interviews for a School Chess Project

My name is Jay Shum. I am a high school senior at Francis W. Parker Charter Essential school and currently, I am developing a year long project to improve my abilities in chess. My goal is to improve my play in some tournaments. I am interested in securing interviews with experienced players to help my project as a source of information. That would mean a short interview where we discuss chess related experiences of how you feel currently about the world of chess and other topics. If there are any masters or friendly people you could connect me to, that would be lovely and a large help to my research process.
