Introduction + Some Questions

Hi Guys, I am a 13 year old chess player that used to play a lot in 2012. I stagnated at 1435 Rapid FIDE and then quit. I started again. How can I get back to my own form? I feel humiliated by the likes of 10 year old chess players who have 2000 rating just because they started at a young age. I started at 12, got to 1435 in one year.Samuel Sevian is rated 1000 points higher than me and he is 3 months younger. Is there any chance that people can get from 1500 to 2400 in 3-4 years. I admit I am ambitious, but is there a chance that I can become GM before I turn 20 or 25 at least in my lifetime?

i don't think anyone has ever reached IM level in 4 years. You'd have to be a real prodigy devoting all you time. If you want to imrpove fast, you need to not only play many games but analyze and learn theory. And a coach helps lots too but not necessary.

I am starting coaching next week. I did improve fast when I had personal coaching. I went from 1200 approx FIDE to mid 1400 in about a month. I beat a 1500 in a tourney.

Yay! Finally broke the 1350 rating barrier on ChessTempo. I used to have a rating of aroun 1450 when I was playing back then.

is that standard or blitz for chesstempo.

I meant tactics rating. I believe it is Standard.
