lol what if it had all the moves with the exception that those moves alternate every time it’s utilized.
First time you move it, it can only go up down side to side like a rook. Then the next time it’s like a bishop; it can only go diagonal. Then the next time it can only make L’s like a knight. Then follow the sequence again starting with a rook.

A hero piece (replaces a pawn). It moves and captures like a pawn, but if it captures a piece, it can move again until it stops capturing pieces. If it ever provides check, that is checkmate. If it reaches the end of the board to promote, it can promote to a hero queen (or underpromote to another hero piece). A hero piece has the same benefit - it moves as that piece but can move again if it captures a piece and check results in checkmate.
