Just wondering if there is a way to create an "Invite Only Tournament" as each participant needs to be a CFC (Chess Federation of Canada), member as I am planning to organize a CFC rated active OTB (Over the Board), tournament online just case the COVID-19 restriction is still in place?
Secondly, I am wondering if in the playing area the detach button still exist to watch multiply games at once just helpfully as TD to help detect if players might be cheating
Thank-you
Live club tournaments can only be played by members of the club. So, you set up a club as private and have your members join that.
Does the CFC allow officially rated events to be played online? I know the US Chess Federation has changed their rules so that games played online can only be played under their Online rating pools; any other online play requires a TD/arbiter in the room with each player to verify regulations are followed.
On your second question, I don't get into live that often but I don't think you can have many boards visible at the same time. You can watch multiple games but I think you have to focus on each, one at at time.
