Is this international chess or shatranj? I actually played somebody once that got mad at me because he thought we were playing shatranj. Or maybe I was the one that thought I was playing international chess. It was a very strange game that got quickly abandoned. This was back in the old OTB days of course. Peace to Iran.
shatranj is the same as international chess and there is no difference, only the terminology is different.
