Those are good results, although I've seen some truly spectacular ones as well, on this site. I've been playing for six months and I just reached 1000 in rapid.
Nice, but I'm confused how I got 1107 in a week!

Beginners are beginners. Play everyday for one month you are no longer a beginner.
People who throw that term around for people who have been playing are so insulting.
Idk. I've started recently to play chess. I already knew how the pieces move, their value, and I have quite a strategic mind. In these 2 days I've reached elo 1100. Is it good?
ive been playing for a good 2 consistent months and got 1000 elo in rapid. Just learn the basic principals and learn to create plans mid game while also analyzing your opponents possible moves
it would take me less time than 6 months if i would have not wasted my time on bullet or blitz chess
Hello, for me chess is a feeling, I can feel the next 3 moves, sometimes right sometimes wrong, but this is not important. What matters is that you enjoy, like smiling a lot or sending to the f...k. All is welcome, improving myself always, wish you the same.
