I mean... you're mostly talking about yourself right? Some titled players are 2100 on chess.com. I see in your game history one GM was 2400 blitz.

thats cause they don't care about online or were peaked but age kept getting in the way

yeah this site is a joke, 2000 blitz players here hang pieces like crazy

that reminds me of this game i played last night, its relative and quite confusing at any level

just free pawns instead of pieces everywhere

AYO IS THAT THE PP PAWN STRUCTURE!?!?!?

i actually smile at this cause it's quite funny once you realize

I'm just saying... most people above ~2400 blitz are good enough for a master title... the main exception being kids who get a boost in rating due to (my guess is) processing speed.

You said 2300-2600 aren't good enough to be master, but I'm saying what you really mean is you're 2500 and not good enough.

Maybe my cutoff of 2400 is a little low? Maybe? But I'd be surprised if most over 2500 blitz aren't master level OTB.

Obviously not everyone has the opportunity or desire to play OTB... some people would have to travel etc, but if given the opportunity I'd guess most would be able to.

Sure, 13 is really young, it's possible.

As Pfren would tell people, you need systematic study.

It means going from one thing to the next without leaving anything out.

For example your 4 main categories might be: endgames, openings, tactics, strategy.

Then under endgames you could break it down further into...

Rook endgames, opposite color bishop endgames, same color bishop endgames, queen endgames...

And then each of those into 3 categories: pawnless endgames, pawns on one side, pawns on both sides.

Just as an example.

You'd do this via books and/or coach and/or analyzing tons of GM games.

Yeah, lots of studying and lots of playing. That's what your GM opponents will have done, so to score 50% against them you have to do it too.

there have been rare cases with untitled players at 2700 like masters being 2100 or super low

there isn't 700 on fide
