it means u have a good eye for spotting combinations and tactics

My case is similar to the OP's. I touched 2600 puzzle rating, but my rapid rating is always around 1100... Why can't I see these combinations in real game, where no one warns me they are there ? That's the point. The reall tactical skill is seeing them when no one tells you.

The thing is, you're probably getting puzzles rated 2000-2200, rarely getting puzzles rated >2400.

Like I get 3000 rated puzzles from time to time but mostly 2600-2800. sad.png

But generally, 2400 would mean you're about 1400 in Rapid.

Also I saw your puzzle rush survival score of 44 which is impressive.

I am over 2400 in chess puzzles, but the puzzles are so difficult that I don't think I can apply what I have learned to real games. I really need simpler puzzles that help me recognise patterns that I would have a chance of recognising without knowing in advance that there is a solution.

The lichess puzzles are a bit insane. They don't follow patterns that I can learn. Each puzzle is more like "Stockfish told you so". And the interface immediately moves you on to the next puzzle before you have time to reflect and learn. It is a rubbish interface.

As long as you can find tactics in real games, any puzzle rating is fine.
