Is anyone better in live chess then turn based online chess?

I find that I'm a lot better in live chess then I am in online chess. Which doesn't make much sense to me because you have such a long time to decide how to move and to formulate a plan in turn based chess.

I think the reason is that during live chess I often have a vision of what I want to do and I'll make mental notes of what I would like to do.

I guess I simply lose track of my plans during the turn based games.

Is anyone else the same way?

Sorry, if the wording is confusing, I'm in class and trying to type as fast as possible.

You can make notes in turnbased games.
I tend to play to fast and lose a piece.

Focus on class. The when you are playing chess, focus on that.
