Why is it all about you? What if you go on a winning streak because your opponents are on a losing streak and then you go on a losing streak because your opponents are on a winning streak? Maybe when you win your opponent is seeing the board worse, and when you lose your opponent is seeing the board better?
Is anyone else really streaky in blitz?
I will rephrase. Do all you other players out there tend to lose and win a lot in bunches for blitz or not, and if so why do you think that would that be?
If you look at your stats you can see the length of longest winning and losing streaks.
And it is all about you. You might be playing a bit better or worse for a while. I tend to play a bit worse after I've been out sweating on my bike for a couple of hours. I hypothesise that my electrolytes and neurotransmitters get out of balance.
1200 blitz players are much easier than 1500. You can drop a piece against 1200 and still win when they drop one in return. That doesn't happen as much against 1500
Yes, I have both streaks. I think it's because in every game I win I see the mistakes before my opponent did, and in every game I lose they see the mistakes before I do:)
Yea, I guess its that unexplainable. I just thought mistakes would be limited to one position or one time crunch and wouldn't carry over so much into other games, but boy it sure seems like they do.
yep, a few days ago I lost about 150 points in bullet. Still haven't recovered entirely. Need to recover soon before it's too late...
Why do you think I'm over here bit**ing instead of still over there playing? Lol.

Yeah, that is bad. Maybe you should stop playing tonight
What's OTB? Lol. I live in the middle of nowhere, online is all I got. I haven't played OTB in 10 years.

I feel ya, man. Just remember, whatever you do online doesn't mean anything compared to OTB.

I feel like I am constantly going on 4-5 game winning and losing streaks in blitz. I can't say that this is bc I am seeing the board better or worse at different times bc sometimes its right when I start, other times its after playing a few games. Does anyone else have this issue?
Also, does anyone else feel that opponents between 1200 and 1500 are almost the exact same in ability?
