I'm one of them (my first tourney since 1972. No, that's not a typo. 49 years. Thank you Queen's Gambit).
It'd be great to meet other folks from here.
(And while I'm at it let me ask the following question: what ought a newbie know about ahead of time in order that they are not surprised? I.e., I'm looking for tips beyond the average common sense ones (e.g., enjoy it, don't stress, etc.)
