Is bullet time control bad?

If you have ever played bullet before, you probably notice a few things:
1. When you are low on time, you just make random moves until your opponent runs out of time.
2. You often fumble your cursor when your opponent gives you a check when you are low on time.
So, bullet just pressures you and makes you frustrated. Even though I'm saying why bullet is bad, can anyone tell me what BENEFITS you get when playing bullet?
