is Chess Universe a genuine site?

I have recently been playing on Chess Universe app but it seems full of bots so much so that I am under the impression that all the players are in fact bots. Is there any similar experience?
Its fun, but full of AI. The quicker time controls the bots are obvious and slow.
It's definitely full of bots and worse and worse. It used to be maybe forty per cent of the players now it's not far from 90%.
