It will give you more options to become better. If you use various tools - yes.

it’s not worth it, ur basically paying for puzzles which you can get for free and better ones at that on other websites

In my opinion, as a diamond member. It’s not going to get you better at chess. It may, make you want to get better. But it won’t improve your chess at all, the features it unlocks are all free on Lichess. The membership doesn’t make it so you have the ability to learn, it makes it so you have a better time on the site. Game review is overrated and you should focus more on self-analysis. You don’t need an AI man whos spitting our moves of the 20+ move depth computer to try and tell you what your mistake was, that won’t help, you need self realization. Additionally, there are several websites with game review for free. If you want to improve at chess you should spend the money on a few books or even a course or two (books are probably better though). Gold won’t make you better at chess. You will.

It’s fine, the membership is always nice to have and makes a lot of things a bit easier. Just don’t think you will magically get better just by having the membership.

When I was a lad, we didn't buy memberships in order to get better at chess.

Instead we walked twenty kilometers every Friday to the chess club, up-hill both ways, through a howling blizzard, in order to practice our tactics.

Tough?

We used to live in a paper bag in the middle of the road.

AND we had to share it with two other families.
