Is he cheating?

I know im not the best player but sometimes i come across people who are 5 steps of me and i cant do anything about it.

You are correct. Reviewing the game i noticed some free shots i couldve taken.

I was more weird'ed out by how fast and consistant he was. Being in this elo its usually messy as hell.

Chess.com is full of cheaters, wouldn't be surprised.

Depends on the 800 lol some games are horrible but consistent others are random and inconsistent

I really doubt he was cheating but you never know in online games.

He or she may have played fast - but the actual strength of the gameplay is on the same level as yours.

For example you both dont bother to develop all your pieces in the opening.

If you feel another member is using disallowed resources you should report them.
