Is Houdini the perfect Chess Emulator?

People always strive for perfection. For centuries it was considered impossible to build a machine which could beat every living human at Chess. Then, it happened.

My question is: Does Houdini play perfect Chess? It never gets beaten, never will, at least not by somebody who only can rely on a biological brain instead one made out of silicon chips. What defines perfect Chess better than a perfect match score?

Until chess is solved, no chess program will be perfect. A few years ago the top program was Rybka. Now it's Houdini. In a few years, it's likely to be another program. And the beat goes on...

I believe, perfection in any game is achieved at that moment when you're able to successfully counter every strategy any thinkable opponent might throw at you. Whatever, I just wanted to share my thoughts.

If a human being would play all the time like Houdini, his skills would be deemed flawless, like out of another dimension. If noone can beat you and you have eradicated every tiny weakness and flaws out of your game, you have 'mastered' it. What's the difference between that and the elusive state of perfection?
