Yes, Q + K can mate N + K
Is it a draw?

Hi guys, thanks for your replys...
You guys are right, I've been analysing it and figure out how to do a mate.
Thanks

Constantly checking will not work to win that endgame. The king would just stay close to the knight. The way to win this type of endgame would be to position the king and queen in places where they restrict the enemy king and knight. So they eventually are forced to give up ground until they are eventually at the edge of the board.

If the enemy king and knight are far away from each other than a certain order of checking may be able to pick up the knight.
If the enemy king and knight are in contact then follow the general tips I stated from before.

It isn't indeed, but took me some time to figure out and a lot of moves to push the knight and the king to the corner to the mate...

I actually find K&Q vs K&N a lot harder than KNB vs K. But yeah it's about pushing the enemy king towards an edge and restricting squares. Constantly checking wont make progress, as with most endgames zugzwang is more important.

Hi Scottrf, I friend of my (1650 hate) don't agree with you on this...
He showed me that it is lot easier to mate K&Q vs K&N than KNB vs K. Because with this set you have to push the K to any corner and KNB vs K you have to push the king to the especific corner of the Bishop
Is there a way to win a game: Queen and the King versus a Knight and the king whitout any players making a mistake?
