I once had a similar question: is it cheating to play chess being drunk? The matter is that I play chess better in that case. Should my opponent be drunk too? How to equalise our drunk state? Nobody wants to solve problems like that so its better to not allow people to play drunk. I think the same is with the music.

But it matters in serious chess events only, nobody cares if you are drunk and/or listening your favourite death metal during the game on chess.com

No you can only play chess legally if you are in a very uncomfortable position, havent slept in 48 hours, are hungry, thirsty, and freezing, and getting regular electric shocks as well. Oh and you need to be in a special low oxygen atmosphere like they use in some server rooms to reduce the danger of fire.
