Is it impolite to resign when you are in a winning position?

Moreover, is it impolite to ask someone to do something that is or may be impolite?

It is impolite to pretend to be stupid.

I agree! That's why I never pretend to be stupid!

Pretending to be stupid, for short term gains, for a long enough period of time, will render it into a permanent condition.

Like Aristotle (I think) said, we are what we repeatedly do.

If you were playing a woman, it would be impolite if you resigned before her, gentlemen know it's always "ladies first".

I have a PhD in human anatomy. I believe the "mess" you speak of is called the spleen.

Soemtimes RL intervenes, and I need to leave. 

Instead of just logging without warning, I take 4 seconds, to click the "resign" button.

Is only polite.

Well, yeah... those are the things that allow an individual to exist.

I suppose permanent means permanent.
