Is it possible for a human to beat an engine without another engine?

You must be looking at the wrong game. My opponent does not even have two pieces that can mate my king together silly . If you study checkmates it will help you get your rating over 1000 and play better and better.

- He got kicked from a TT in April this year on a perfect 8/8 streak. Analysis showed he played with inhuman accuracy and speed in all games against significantly stronger grandmasters. Statistical tools that measure best move accuracy that made all world champions look like patzers. His other TT tournaments showed the same impossible accuracy.

- He used to make videos, write columns and livestream on this site. All of those have been discontinued since that infamous TT. He used to be a very active member playing thousands of games, but since he was banned from that tournament he hasn't played a single game. Not one.

There were results, but not credible ones. It is like trusting a conspiracy blog post that says that aliens are controlling the government and created Trump to destroy mankind. These are reddit posts and its the only people even thinking about it. If you can get me a link to the games that were played, I will check if they are "engine style". I am a very good chess player and part of a lineage stretching back to Jack Collins, Bobby Fischer's teacher. You can change my mind by procuring the games so I may see, with my own eyes, whether he cheated or not.

@Pytrovich I looked through almost all of Dlugy's games. Unless he cheated part of the way through, and only in parts of certain games, there was no way he did. A lot of his moves are "Dlugy style" in almost all parts of the games. In some of the games he sacrifices unsoundly just to put the guy over on time. As far as centaur cheating goes, he would have used a lot more time doing that. I mean, this is the guy who beat Kasparov in the world blitz championships, this is the guy who calculates faster than Tal. This is the guy who goes 3-0 against Kasparov in blitz training games and then Kasparov has to play until he wears Dlugy down and starts winning games. This is the world's best blitz player period and still one of the best players in the world in classical time controls. He doesn't need to cheat. And he didn't. As for why he stopped doing content. He was recently promoted to a high position in the chess world, I imagine he has less free time and wants to spend it with his family.

You and me both are terrible chess players. What you see with your own eyes has zero merit as you are about 1000 rating points short of having a qualified opinion. Only statistics can help us see.

78.25% Titled Tuesday April 2017 (the one he was banned from)

74.29% Titled Tuesday December 2016 (Dlugy won this event)

80.01% Titled Tuesday January 2017 (Dlugy won this event)

These are all impossibly high correlations for humans, not once did he make even a single inaccuracy.

For reference these are the correlations for the 2016 world blitz championship, notice how only Carlsen is above 60%.

I remember the tournament he got kicked from well. It caused a lot of controversy. The most telling part of it was how the post-tournament article didn't mention a word about him, even though he was beating all the top players spectacularly. Not a single one of his games was highlighted in the article.
