Is it possible for bots to resign?

If you play with time controls, and the bot runs out of time (which isn't that hard to do because the bot spends .5-2 seconds per move), the game says they resigned when you open it up in analysis

I was reviewing my game and I saw coach david as Emir-BOT and he resign is this possible

They don't resign. No problem with that but the problem is that there's no facility to offer a draw so if you don't want to play out a drawn endind, you have to resign.
