What a silly title to a thread?? HOW CAN YOU ASK IF ITS POSSIBLE TO CHECKMATE IN ONE .... When as white your first move is going to have to be with a knight it a pawn!!!!???? The quickest mate is called fools mate, and is 2 moves ... and the title is very apt if you fall for it!!!
