And, like @tygxc said, the queen is good for checkmating.

But he said that it is TWO MOVES not ONE MOVE…

PeterMisiu

If you have seen the #7 comment, then can you deliver checkmate there by queen?

PeterMisiu

I know @Khalidm123456789. But @tygxc mentioned a queen checkmate

Uhh just like I said, he mentioned that the queen can checkmate in the first two moves

PeterMisiu

UNlike what @tygxc said, can you checkmate using the queen for the #7 comment of mine in ONE and only one move?

First, it is not the starting position. Second, there is no checkmate in the #7 comment of yours in one and only one move.

I'm not talking about a starting position checkmate. I know there is no checkmate immediately when you see the #7 comment but understand you CAN go there and deliver checkmate.

Bruh, if you are not talking about the starting position then say it. Also, do you mean check or checkmate?

PeterMisiu

But the one on the #7 comment on: https://www.chess.com/forum/view/general/is-it-possible-to-deliver-checkmate-in-1-move?page=1

Khalidm123456789

Do you know the difference between check and checkmate?

PeterMisiu

My checkmate attempt:

Woohoo!

AussieMatey

All the pieces are on the board.

When the game started, White and Black didn't notice there were 2 pieces misplaced. Black also didn't notice that White's Queen jumped a piece.

The game was played. The result must stand.

White checkmates in one move.

PeterMisiu

Except that there are 46 moves. 46 white moves. 45 black moves

PeterMisiu

PeterMisiu

Here. One move checkmate

Bruh, if there was no one move checkmate, how do you win at chess?

PeterMisiu

Other than ONE move checkmate, winning at chess would be by checkmating 2-10 I'd say moves best

Khalidm123456789

I don’t get what you are saying

PeterMisiu

I mean 2-10 moves then checkmate
